This homeowner contacted Basement Systems of New York speceifically because their block foundation had several cracks in the floor, which standing water was coming up through. They needed this project completed as quickly as possible because they are trying to sell the home in a timely manner. 

In order to remediate the issue they were having we installed our patented WaterGuard system, which was tied into our SuperSump pump. We as well poured a new concrete floor.

In implemeting these three systems we were able to make sure that any and all water that could penetrate their basement would be redirected to our SuperSump pump and out of the basement, as well by pouring a new concrete floor we were able to remove those eye sores of cracks but more importantly keep the basement dry.

In order to take care of the issues at hand we installed several different systems to bring back peace of mind to her and her home. The systems that we speifically installed to do this were pouring a new 4" concrete floor, SmartJacks support systems to stabalize the floor joists/beams, Supplemental IBeams, and a TripleSafe sump pump system with a WaterWatch alarm system. By installing these systems we were able to take care of the strutural and water issues that she was having.

This homeowner's foundation was in deep trouble and needed help to bring it back to its former beauty. Before this could be done our specialist needed to complete his inspection to get a grasp of how bad the situation was before he could propose a solution to the problem.

After conducting his inspection he realized that to bring their home's foundation back to where it used to be we would need to remove and replace approx 20 ft of the main girder and prep the floor with gravel and 6 Mil vapor barrier. We would need to as well pour a new 3" concrete floor and install our SmartJack support system to stabilize the floor joist and beams.

Once these systems were installed we were able to one alleviate the water problems that they were having, which were caused by the foundation issues in their home and two we were able to remove the foundation problems in their home which allow for them to have a sound home again that they did not have to consistently worry about daily. 

This basement was completely wet, as this homeowner was having multiple issues with water penetrating her home. 

To remediate the issues at hand we installed both systems inside and outside her home. The specific systems that we installed were our DryTrak perimeter waterproofing system with a SuperSump pump, IceGuard for their gutters and finally lawnScape for their yard.

Having implemented these three systems we were able to make sure for their home was secure from both the inside and outside regardless of the season they were in or the upcoming one. Since everything was installed they have noticed nothing but comfort and they are loving every minute of being able to reclaim their basement for additional space. 

This homeowner's home was 90% secure from all the elements, the only element they had not accounted for was that dreaded humidity. To get their home to the 100% mark they needed to install several dehumidifiers due to the size of their home.

To accomplish this we installed four separate SaniDry Santa Fe dehumidifiers. Each dehumidifier works independently of each other and was calibrated specifically to keep relative humidity below 65% to keep the home as dry and comfortable as possible but to also stop mold from growing in the home.

We were contacted to waterproof the foundation of this new build based on our previous work with them, as well with other clients that we had done work for. Because of how experienced our crews are we were able to waterproof the foundation with Rub-R-Wall within half the time they had allocated for the project. In this instance, we needed to install a CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system both on the floor and six inches up the wall, as well drainage matting under the CleanSpace to seal their crawl space off from the earth as well from water and moisture coming in.

Now and then these homeowners felt as though their home was not secure because they thought their floor was shifting and they had a pitch forming in their floor. To their dismay, after our inspection, this was occurring due to one of their walls in the basement. 

Before starting this project we had to first make sure we took care of the electrical panel properly, as well we had to remove the baseboard plumbing lines due to where they were located and the type of work we were going to perform. We next installed our PowerBraces using an 8' brace with top bridge brackets to secure the foundation, home, and wall. Finally, we replaced the baseboard plumbing lines that we had initially removed.

We were recommended to these homeowners by a contractor who identified a significant issue with their Monolithic foundation leading to water seepage. The seepage resulted in standing water during heavy rainstorms and spring melts, prompting the homeowners to address the problem before refinishing their basement.
