Our team installed CleanSpace overtop of the rock ledge to allow the water to flow into our french drain waterproofing system. By installing CleanSpace the dampness of the customers crawlspace was fixed. The CleanSpace also helps reflect light and makes the room much brighter.

This crawlspace has been transformed into a much nicer healthier enviorment with the help of our patented  SilverGlo CleanSpace and TerraBloc Products!

These homeowners contacted Basement Systems of New York because of two issues plaguing their home. More specifically a radon level of five point two in their home and damp, wet, musty crawl space, which was creating many issues upstairs, as well as affecting their health. Because of how well their project came out with our sister company Foamco they decided to contact us and see what could be done to improve the overall quality of their home.  

To take care of the issues they were experiencing, we installed our patented radon mitigation system along with an additional penetration point and our SmartDrain basin. We then proceeded to encapsulate their crawl space with our 20-millimeter thick CleanSpace vapor barrier. Once installed, we sprayed 2" of closed-cell spray foam to our CleanSpace vapor barrier. After laying our vapor barrier, we finished this project off with one of our patented Basementaire dehumidification systems. 

By applying our patented products to their home, we reduced their radon level from their previous five-point two to a two. While the main concern for these homeowners was their radon level, they were also concerned about the humidity, dampness, and mustiness throughout their home, by encapsulating their crawl space and installing our dehumidification system, we were able to remediate the problem at hand. In doing so, we were able to make their home more comfortable. Overall these homeowners were so glad that they had both a comfortable home again, as well as peace of mind restored to them.  

This homeowner reached out after winter wreaked havoc on their garage floor. It wasn’t just the snow and ice, it was the salt tracked in by their car that caused the real damage. Over time, the surface became a cracked, worn down mess.

Our team ground down the old surface and applied a durable concrete overlay. The result? A brand-new look that completely transformed their garage saving them time, money, and frustration.

What made this project unique is that the homeowners wanted a floor with multiple shades of gray for depth and character. We didn’t just meet that request we exceeded their expectations. Now, their garage slab looks as good as it did the day they moved in, if not better.

These homeowners just purchased this second home several months ago. After living in their new home for a short period they realized that they had a water and humidity issue. More specifically, water was coming in at the wall-floor joints and a couple of cracks on the floor as well. Because of the water intrusion, they decided to contact Basement Systems of New York to see how we could help their home. This project in itself was unique because of the fact that their home has a step footing versus a traditional footing. 

To take care of the water issue at hand we dug around the perimeter of their basement, as well through the center of it to create our trench as well as laterals. Once done we installed our FlowGuard waterproofing system and tied it into our TripleSafe sump pump. Before applying concrete on top of our system, we applied both the drain mat and CleanSpace to the walls. Finally, before turning the basement back over to the homeowners, we installed our SaniDry XP dehumidification system to keep the areas free of any excess moisture or humidity.

Since installing our patented products their basement has been dry, as well the environment both downstairs and upstairs has completely changed for the better. They now have a fully functional home that they do not have to worry about every single night when they go to bed.
