Saving a Home With Traditional and Pre-Construction Stabil-Loc Push Piers - Fishkill, NY

Initially, this homeowner sought assistance from a different contractor to address their sinking home issues. However, the first company, upon starting the project, realized the complexities involved and abandoned the project, leaving the homeowner in a difficult situation. Understandably, the homeowner was hesitant to trust another contractor, having already faced disappointment.

After two years of patiently building trust and rapport with the client, they finally felt confident in our ability to complete the project. During this time, we provided consistent support, answering their questions, and alleviating their concerns.

Our process began by excavating the right side of the home's foundation. This involved digging down eighteen feet to reach the footing, creating space under it. We then utilized hydraulic rams to drive our Stabil-Loc push piers into bedrock or the appropriate strata. Once in place, we applied pressure upwards. This not only halted the home's sinking but also restored it to its original height, preventing future movement.

Moving to the front of the home, we had to first temporarily support the structure before removing the front porch and wall. Once safely supported, we excavated to the required depth. Here, we used pre-construction Stabil-Loc push piers to prevent the foundation from sinking, even without the weight of the structure. Afterward, we poured a new footing and wall, rebuilt the porch, and gently lowered the home.

With the exterior repairs complete, we turned our attention to reinforcing the interior foundation wall. CarbonArmor reinforcements were applied to prevent inward bowing as the exterior soil settled. To address the uneven floors caused by the sinking, we utilized our PolyLevel leveling system, ensuring a smooth, even surface.

To complete the project, we also renewed the sidewalk and graded the yard. Throughout the two-year journey and the project itself, the homeowner had numerous questions and concerns. However, upon project completion, they expressed their satisfaction and relief, knowing that their home was now secure and stable. Our work not only restored their peace of mind but also their confidence in their home's stability.

Repairing More Crawl Spaces At Olde Post Mall Apartment Complex - Fishkill, NY

After waterproofing and pouring a new concrete slab in one of the building complexes at Olde Post Mall two years, ago they decided based on how well of a job we did, as well how well our system was, performing to have us take care of the crawl spaces of buildings number nine and four.

To deal with the presence of water, humidity and moisture in the crawl space we first had to clean out the spaces to start the installation process of our patented systems. We then started to prepare the perimeter of the ginormous crawl space for our WaterGuard waterproofing system.

Once our WaterGuard had been laid properly and was level with the help of gravel we then moved on to installing seven of our SuperSump Plus sump pump systems, which all were tied directly into our perimeter system, we then drilled our weep hole throughout the entire perimeter of the crawl space. In doing this any water that would/could penetrate the crawl space would be collected and directed to our waterproofing system and out to daylight through our discharge lines. We then started to lay our drain mat with gravel before laying our new concrete slab. To finish this crawl space we installed two of our Basementaire dehumidification systems.

Based on how the previous system that we installed is working both the tenants and property management group can be assured that everyone will be comfortable and have peace of mind restored back to them. More importantly for the property management group, they know that have reduced their level of liability while adding value to their properties.

Finishing Up Waterproofing The Crawl Spaces At Olde Post Mall Apartment Complex - Fishkill, NY

About four years ago the Old Post Mall apartment complex in Fishkill, New York, contacted us to solve a water problem that no one else could solve. That was until they reached out to us. When we evaluated the complex, we knew we could solve their problems. This, meant that their crawl spaces stayed dry.

When we started waterproofing the first four buildings' they wanted to know that we would do the quality of work that we promised. More importantly, they wanted to make sure that we would be able to solve their problems. As always, we do as we say we are going to do. Because of this next year, we were awarded another contract with them that consisted of three more buildings. The year after that we were awarded three more buildings. Finally, in 2022, we were awarded the last four buildings.

For these projects, we are not traditionally remedying the issue. Typically we jackhammer around the perimeter of the crawl space or basement, install perforated pipe and attach it to a sump pump and apply concrete back over to finish the area. For this project, we are not going to go deeper. We are going to do the opposite and bring in on average six inches of gravel, install our pipe underneath that gravel, then apply our CleanSpace vapor barrier and pour a new concrete slab, which will encompass our waterproofing system along with our TripleSafe sump pumps that will all have custom discharge lines which will run all water out to one central location, this will allow the water to run away from each building.

They knew they made the right choice in contacting us to complete this extensive project based on our quality of work and professionalism during the first few buildings we completed for them. The biggest reason they knew that we were the right choice was that their tenants continuously let the management group know that their homes felt so much more comfortable, as well as some health issues that they had subsided due to our work. They could not be happier with how their projects turned out. They knew they chose the right company to invest in and help their complex.

Foundation Settlement Repair: Stabil-Loc Push Piers and Structural Reinforcement Solutions Carbon Fiber Reinforcement - Fishkill, NY

This homeowner reached out after noticing cracks forming throughout their sheet rock. They feared their home was settling—and they were right. During our inspection, we saw the tell-tale signs: cracks pointing above door frames, spreading across the living room, all indicating interior settlement. The root cause? Their home had been built on fill dirt instead of stable, virgin soil.

To make the home safe for our team and the family, we began by opening sections of the ceiling and installing SmartJack temporary supports. Once secured, we removed the failing lally columns never meant to be permanent and installed six Stabil-Loc Push Piers along the home’s steel I-beam main girder to permanently stabilize the structure.

On the right side of the foundation, where cracks had formed and the wall was at risk of rolling inward, we prepped the surface and installed vertical and bi-directional SRS Carbon Fiber Strips for added reinforcement. We also placed crack monitors outside so the homeowner could track the minor cracks that sat in the “watch” zone.

With their home now structurally sound and permanently stabilized, these homeowners can finally sleep easy. No more worrying about walking upstairs or wondering if the house is moving. Their peace of mind and the transformation speaks for itself. Call 1-800-719-9240 to speak with a Specialist and schedule your FREE foundation consultation today!

Making a Flooded Floor Look Like New Without The Intrusion Of Ripping It Out & Replacing It - Cortlandt Manor, NY

This homeowner was preparing to sell their home in the near future when disaster struck a leaking pipe flooded the basement, leaving the concrete floor pitted, cracked, and unsightly. They knew that showing the home in this condition would hurt their value, maybe even scare buyers away. So they reached out to us to see if there was a smarter solution.

After inspecting the damage, we determined they were an ideal candidate for a concrete overlay. Instead of a full rip‑out and replacement which would have meant noise, dust, delays, and a much bigger bill we could restore the entire floor with a cleaner, faster, more affordable approach.

To start, we used both hand grinders and our larger equipment to grind the surface down until it was completely flush and free of loose material. Once the floor was prepped and spotless, we applied our premium concrete overlay across the entire basement, giving it a smooth, uniform, like‑new finish.

The transformation was immediate. The homeowner was thrilled with the final result and even better, the home sold extremely quickly once it hit the market. They told us they’d choose this solution again in a heartbeat.
