WaterGuard System

Our team was able to remove the cement underneath the water heater and install a WaterGuard System. The WaterGuard system is Uniquely shaped similarly to a D. This helps releave pressure against the foundation which also helps prevent moinsture, and mold. The special design also has a wall flange that also has spaces inbetween the flanges to allow any water that comes from wall seepage.

Triple Safe Sump Pump in Washingtonville

This is an example of a before and during picture. Our team had to jackahmmer around the entire floor and even underneath and around obstacles such as water heaters. After jackhammering our team removes the cement and dirt which lies underneath the floor. After removing all of that they then, add crushed blue stone to help direct the water that seeps in through the wall and floor causing dampness, moisture, and mold. After that they installed our patented WaterGuard system, which also collects water and directs the water to the Triple Safe Sump Pump. This is what removes the water from the house. Our team sets up two Sump pumps inside of the basin which is perferated to allow the flow of water into the basin. The Sump pumps then are connected to the plumping that we also install that led to outside. Once outside our team digs another trench and installs a dischage system to remove the water further away from the house.

Removing water using a WaterGuard System

This basement had a problem will dampness due to wall and floor water seepage. In order to get this basement dry our team did the following. First to start this job our team set up a plastic barrier to protect the homeowners belongings from the dust created by jackhammering and mixing cement. After jackhammmering and removing any debris from the basement, in this case it was put in buckets then pushed out a window, then hauled away in dumptrucks. Our team insatalled WaterGuard and and crushed blue stone to hold the water and direct it to the Triple Safe Sump Pump. This removes the water out of the basement and takes it outside into a discharge line where it is taken away from the house to eliminate future problems with water entering the basement.

Reviving a Water-Damaged Barn - Walden, NY

A concerned homeowner reached out to us due to persistent water infiltration issues in their barn. The barn's floor was severely deteriorated, lacking proper slope for water drainage, and offering insufficient storage accessibility. To address these problems effectively, we embarked on a comprehensive restoration project. Here's how we tackled it:

  1. Creating Proper Drainage: We began by excavating the areas in front of the barn doors to establish the required slope for efficient water management and better utilization of the space.

  2.
  3. Forming the Foundation: After achieving the correct depth, we meticulously constructed 2x10 wooden forms to shape the concrete foundation. These forms served as the framework for our concrete work.

  4.
  5. Enhancing Structural Integrity: Ensuring long-term stability and strength, we strategically placed both vertical and horizontal rebar, providing the necessary structural support for the concrete slabs.

  6.
  7. Pouring New Slabs: With our preparations complete, we proceeded to pour two fresh concrete slabs—one outside the front barn doors and one outside the back barn doors. These slabs would be instrumental in resolving the water infiltration issue.

  8.
  9. Barn-Wide Restoration: Our efforts extended to pouring a new concrete slab throughout the entire barn, revitalizing the entire space.

  10.
  11. With this comprehensive project completed, the barn has been restored to its former glory. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it is also now a fully functional space, free from the constant threat of water damage. The homeowners are delighted with their investment in restoring the barn's functionality and appearance.

Our success in transforming this barn demonstrates the importance of addressing foundational issues to create a safe, functional, and visually appealing space. If you're facing similar challenges with your property, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help you restore and enhance your living spaces.

Installing a New Slab With Clean Space - Walden, NY

After living in their home for several months these homeowners realized that they were having issues with their foundation, as well as water and humidity in their home. Because of these reasons, they contacted Basement Systems of New York to see what could be done in order to take care of the issues at hand.

In order to fix the problems that they were having we had to install several different systems that would tie into one cohesive unit. The systems that we ended up using to make this home more comfortable were CleanSpace, WaterGuard, Drainage Matting, and a new slab. By implementing these different systems in their home we have been able to improve the overall health of their home.

Since installing our systems the homeowner has noticed nothing but a sense of relief that they now have a comfortable home that they never want to leave.
